On June 17th the Hemlock saw the last of the Wendy Kroys in a great big hillbilly fest. Let's break down the band inbreeding, just for fun:

The Beginnings: (The cutest boy band, EVER!)
Micheal (plays with Wendy Kroys, and Rykarda Parasol dummer)
Keith (played with Doran of I Love My Label in the Sort Outs)
Wyman (too many bands to name, one of them Rykarda)
Greg ( Rykarda and a former Sort Out with I Love My label's Doran)

I Love my Label:
Shane (a sometimes Kroy, he also plays with Kroy keyboarder Doug in Tryptophan)
Mike (A Kroy, and a Smirk)
Tish (also in in Tryptophan with Kroy's Doug and Shane, and in the Vatican's with Shane)
Jason (Shanes' brother, Egad, a blood relation!)

Resineators: Tony and Noodleman (We made them play the last song with us so that would bear the Kroy resume stain for the rest of their days)

Many said this was our best show ever, but they would since half the crowd is like our musical second cousins. .

May 13th - Thee Parkside. The third time was the charm! We Kroys redeemed ourselves in a great show with the Subtractions. They were hot! The new member of the night was Mike Millet on guitar. JoJo is a tough guy to fill-iin for, but Mike did not disappoint. We were treated to a pre-show fireworks display too.

KUSF turned 29 on April 25. We played with Numbers at 12 Galaxies. They were great, as was our new keyboard Kroy, Doug. Michael took JoJo's spot in the doghouse for a change.

The Knock Out. Feb 23. Sometimes when you are on that bus heading for disaster, you have to keep on drivin' -- right off a cliff.

The Eagle,is a great place to play! Thursday Feb 9th - It' was the first show for our studio mates, The Beginnings who seemed like had played together for years. the Sic Alps will and the Intelligence were amazing headliners.

The Hemlock, New Year's eve eve 2005 - We got to open for the first live show of Tryptophan! Our rock idols Tom Carter, Tich (one of my 2 favorite dummers ever), Doug and Shane (an occasional Kroy) were simply stellar.

The Hemlock, September 9th Friday - We got to open for the first live show of The Emmanuelles! Our band mate Kelley is on vacation, but we endoctrinatied a few talented temps for this special occasion.

Thee Parkside - October Budget Rock. Great fest! Our worst show. JoJo is still in the naughty chair!

Finally, our little garage band got to play in a garage! Our best live show to date was at Carolyn and Mike's eviction party in July.

On Sunday, June 19th we played with the always-sexy Go Going Gone Girls, Jesse Deuxe from LA, and local Rockers Koolie Kat at The 12 Galaxies. Both Carrie and Kelley reported hearing alien transmissions from the stage monitors.

We kicked off a monthly night for "The Coalition for Aging Rockers" at the Hemlock on Thursday, March 24th. We opened for Smirk, and Giant Haystacks, who Rocked! We highly recommend playing a 7:00 start time.

We played in North beach at Broadway Studios on KrumpusNaught, December 6th with Brown is My Favorite, Wormwood, Mojo Apostles, ChainBreaker, Hydrogen Babies, Muddlers, and Kit Ruscoe Band. The place is gorgeous, and despite many people having the flu, (me too!) the sound was great. Thanks to John, who organized the whole affair! When I grow up, I wanna play drums just like you!.

We opend for OSC,the Grave Brothers Delux and Pitch Black for the Pirate Cat Radio Benefit at 12 Galaxies on Friday December 3rd. We actually got a sound check! The boys bonded over old videogames in the band room. Fun was had.

Despite no sound check due to the world series, we had a great time at thee Parkside on October 23rd. However, a power outtage happened after our set. 4 our of 5 of us abandoned our hopes of the power returning after an hour or so, and sadly missed Smirk and Operation S. Luckily they played the following weekend and rocked!
