   I love everything!
   I left you giant notes on flickr and how funny are you posting as they paint-it's like we're passing notes back and forth in class-or when you text message your husband jokes during work-not that i do that, but you know. I am coming and I want to sit in your yrad, ok?

   Woh, what kind of tree is that in your backyard? Amazing yellow flowers hanging in it!! Could have a cup of tea there... :)
   And that white orchid on that brown background, just beautiful!!

   Look at your beautiful (and generous) Datura, you lucky ducky... Your backyard is so lovely - and so well made for good conversation and food and drink. I like peaking into your home.

   i love that photo! what is the hanging plant with the orange trumpet shaped flowers? it's beautiful!! does it have a fragrance?

    shari.... thanks! i happen to like my yard most of the time too! :) [not too fond of the weeding, but it's a small price to pay!]
    
    daphne... it's a datura plant... more info:

    that plant was given to us when we moved in 7 years ago and it was barely as tall as the fence and all spindly.... it's gone NUTS since then!

    hi tiffany... it's a datura [see above].... i'm so happy you like my yard... it's take a long time to gather all that eccentricity! :D and i'm sure you'll have a great yard someday!!

    karen... i wish you could come share ours.... orchids? that one was just given to me, but i've had the best luck w/ orchids in this house. i've been keeping them in the back backroom [i think the humidity helps] which has bright eastern light [no direct sun for the orchids!]. i mist the leaves every other day or so... and i feed them once a month w/ orchid food. every couple of weeks i give them a good soak [water from the bottom] and then they have all rebloomed. i did re-pot them last year and they've been in a bit of shock, but most are sending out new green now....
